To Know Christ, To Grow in Christ, To Share Christ

Serving with a purpose:
The Youth group went on a mission trip in July 2018 to Asheville, NC. Through Carolina Cross Connection, they learned about and served people who are homeless. During that trip they developed a passion for this type of ministry and in September, they partnered with Clemmons UMC (also on the Asheville mission trip) to continue to serve locally in Winston-Salem. The two groups made 284  "Blessing Bags" and 431 sandwiches. The sandwiches and other donations went to the Winston-Salem Rescue Mission on September 8. The "Blessing Bags" are being distributed through both churches to people on the street and outside stores.
